Who is she:  A baker who documents her baking adventures via her blog, she is also about to publish her first book. She has no professional training in baking.

What she talk about: All things you crave. Sweets and chocolate in tons of pretty different forms. Even better she tells you how to do it yourself so you don't have to stare at your computer screen all day long.

Why she worth reading: Well she is the inventor of the cake pop, and that's a pretty big deal. Her treats make you say awww with their cute characters and her photography is pretty awesome too. What's a food or treat blog without pretty pretty pictures?

The Feed:  Full Feed

Who are they: Consumerist has been recently purchased by Consumer Reports from Gawker media, this was a great move for Consumer Reports as they provide up to the minute "Consumer Reports" style information. They post a lot but it's all very interesting and well written.

What they talk about: At Consumerist you'll find posts on anything and everything business/customer service related. You'll find letters people have written about absolutely horrific service, you'll find people reporting amazing customer service for just the tiniest of issues. They post bargains and money saving ideas, along with how tos. Check out their "Topics" page as I feel it puts it best. 

Why they're worth reading: Let's face it everyone needs to be more careful with their money in this day and age, and Consumerist is a great way to stay informed.  Plus their "Morning Deals" posts are easy ways to find bargains as well.

The Blog: The Adventures of Mrs. Smith The Feed:  Feed

Who is she: Mrs.Smith beyond being my Alpha Gamma Delta big sister and my blogging inspiration is a happy newly wed to Mr.Smith with two funny dogs and cat name Oscar. She also obsessed with Tiffany's... If you're planning a wedding be sure to check out her archives as her blog has transitioned from a wedding planning blog to a personal blog. (Her wedding was AMAZING!)

What she talks about: Mrs.Smith writes about a vast variety of things she encounters in life. Everything from her learning to be runner, to Menu Monday where the Smith kitchen tests out new recipes each week and reports back, including lots of vegetarian recipes. Mrs.Smith also does party planning series as well as she loves to host!

Why she's worth reading: Chelsea writes about great stuff that's easy to try yourself, plus she's a pretty funny person =) Plus her tag line is "Did I tell you how divinely and utterly happy I am?" how can you go wrong with some Audrey.

The Blog: Hello Kitty Junkie

Who is she:
Maria is a Los Angeles gal who was born in Japan who's even more Hello Kitty obsessed than I am. She's also the premier Hello Kitty blogger out there.
What she talks about:
Anything and everything Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty Junkie always has the latest news and goodies. Maria finds great crazy Hello Kitty stuff from abroad as well.
Why she's worth reading:
Well if you love Hello Kitty you'll enjoy all the neat unique Hello Kitty stuff, especially the stuff from abroad that you'd never see otherwise.  She's also a very talented graphic designer and continually creates great character backgrounds for your computer and phone.

After a week hiatus Blogger pick of the week is back!

GoogleReader tells me I follow 203 some odd RSS Feeds across the interwebs, yikes!
I'm hoping a lot of those are just dead feeds, or random stuff, but it did spur a great idea, a weekly "Follow Friday" of sorts from my vast collection of blog-o-sphere loves.

The Blog: Cake Wrecks

Who is she:
Jen loves to make fun of hilarious professional cakes, and has tons of fun doing so. She does actually like cake.
What she talks about: 
Cake Wrecks: 2011 Mini Wall CalendarWell they post photos of hilarious professionally made cakes gone wrong. On Sunday's they have "Sunday Sweets" where they find pretty professional cakes that fit the theme.
Why she's worth reading:
Cake Wrecks is a great way to catch a laugh quickly, the cakes truly are hilarious. Plus now you'll be looking for cake wrecks when out and about, which you can then submit! Lots of people are fans of Cake Wrecks, they've even published a book and calendar.

Plus it makes you feel better about your own personal icing failures!! We've all had them!

Who is she:
Ree Drummond is a ranch wife who chronicles her life in in rural Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and her transformation from city girl to country girl. She's published a cookbook now and won a Bloggie.
What she talks about: 
The most amazing food ever. I'll warn you there is never anything healthy about what she makes, but her photos make you drool and not care. I've made tons of her recipes. I love how she posts photos along the way as she cooks, I find it incredibly helpful especially when trying to make something I've never made before. Plus she's hilarious, her narrative of the recipes are awesome.
Why she's worth reading:
Ummm if you like to cook/bake/or eat this is the blog for you.
